Delete your account and data

Last updated: June 2026 · newsqora.com

How it works

You can delete your Newsqora account and everything tied to it at any time. You can do it from inside the app, or request deletion by email without installing or opening the app.

Two ways to delete

In the app (fastest). Open Settings, scroll to the account section, and tap Delete account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and all associated data.

Without the app, by request. Email hello@newsqora.com from the email address on the account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request and delete your data within 30 days, usually much sooner.

Email a deletion request

What gets deleted

Deletion removes all data tied to your account:

  • the Google account profile held for sign-in (your name and email);
  • all your saved investigations, comparisons, and folders;
  • the stored consent record and your daily usage counters.

What is not tied to your account

For each fact-check result, Newsqora keeps an anonymous quality record that contains no name, email, account identifier, or search content, so it cannot be linked to a person. Because there is nothing to look up, it is not part of an account-deletion request. This is explained in full under “Anonymous quality logging” in our Privacy Policy.

Only joined the beta waitlist?

If you only joined the beta waitlist and never created an app account, you can be removed the same way: email hello@newsqora.com and we will delete your waitlist entry.
