Terms of Service

By accessing or using Newsqora you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form an agreement between you and Newsqora, operated by Alessandra Rinaldo, based in Spain.

Newsqora is a research instrument that verifies claims, links, and screenshots against real sources and returns a graded, cited assessment. It provides information only. It is not a newsfeed, not a chatbot companion, and it does not make decisions for you.

Newsqora is currently provided as a beta version for testing and evaluation purposes. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”: features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time, and data created during the beta may be modified or deleted. By submitting feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty free licence to use them to improve Newsqora, without obligation or compensation.

Newsqora does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and its output must not be relied upon as such. For decisions in those areas, consult a qualified professional. You are responsible for how you act on the information provided.

You agree to use Newsqora lawfully and for genuine verification. You agree not to:

• use the service for any illegal activity, or to facilitate one;
• seek or generate dark-web, harmful, exploitative, or otherwise dangerous content;
• attempt to harass, defame, or endanger any person using the service;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to reverse-engineer the service or its security.

During the beta, using Newsqora requires signing in with Google; there is no guest mode. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You are responsible for your compliance with these terms, and we may restrict or block access that violates them or threatens the security of the service.

You must be at least the minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal data in your country of residence (for example, 14 in Spain) to use Newsqora. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we become aware that a user does not meet the applicable minimum age, we will delete the account and associated data. Newsqora reports what verifiable sources say and grades its confidence accordingly; it does not claim certainty and will state when sources are insufficient. Source material is owned by its respective publishers, and links are provided for reference only. We do not endorse the content of third-party sources.

The Newsqora name, logo, application, design, and all content and technology comprising the Service are the exclusive property of Newsqora (Alessandra Rinaldo) or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Service. Third party sources cited in answers remain the property of their respective owners.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Newsqora is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its output.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the courts of Barcelona, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules and jurisdiction rights that apply in your country of residence.
